Vidur Sahney - CEO
Vidur is a seasoned healthcare executive with a proven track record in driving innovation and growth within the medical device industry. With experience in successfully launching and scaling medical device companies, including four exits, two of them in the cardiac device space, Vidur brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Conform Medical. Vidur is passionate about developing cutting-edge technologies and taking products from conception to commercialization that improve patient outcomes. By combining a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape with a focus on operational excellence, Vidur is dedicated to leading Conform Medical to new heights of success.
Simon Dunham, Ph.D. - CTO/Co-founder
As an expert in stretchable electronics and an assistant professor of electrical engineering at the Dalio Institute of Cardiovascular Imaging at Weill Cornell Medical School, Dr. Dunham's research focuses on using stretchable electronics to improve medical devices. Along with Dr. Mosadegh, Dr. Dunham has also co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and helped secure $2 million in non-dilutive government grants for Conform Medical.
Bobak Mosadegh, Ph.D. - CSO/Co-Founder
With a Ph.D. in bioengineering and expertise in soft robotics, Dr. Mosadegh serves as the Director of the Dalio Institute of Cardiovascular Imaging at Weill Cornell Medical School and his research focuses on soft robotics. At the Institute, he utilizes technologies such as soft robotics, extended reality, and AI to advance diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular issues. Bobak has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and helped secure over $2 million in non-dilutive government grants for Conform Medical
Eric Nelson, Ph.D. - Head of Engineering
With a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, as well as 12+ years of experience developing new technologies from concept through qualification into high volume manufacturing, Dr. Nelson has a broad set of engineering experience across optical, electronic, and biomedical devices in both startups and large company environments. He has led numerous programs ranging from long-term technology pathfinding to technology improvements between product generations and has worked extensively with external development partners and contract manufacturers. Dr. Nelson also has 10 issued patents.
